From your Co-presidents Nora McIlree and Sue Okie:

We would like to welcome all new and prospective league members. Additionally we encourage you to attend our meetings that are held on the first Monday of each month. All members are always welcome to join us for coffee at 9:15 a.m. and stay for the lively and informative discussions. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your unique input. The league welcomes different perspectives as we map our course for the year. Just go to the Calendar page of this website for the list of meetings and events that are scheduled. We hope to see you very soon over coffee and bagels!

From the LWV-Darien membership committee:

Membership is, of course, very important to a community group like the LWV-Darien. Our goal is to have a cross-section of citizens represented in the league. The league does its best work when we have many participating to make our community the best it can be through involvement and informed participation. We strive to improve the quality of democracy by increasing voters’ knowledge of issues and candidates who run for office. Consider becoming a member of the league. Any level of participation in our group is welcome. In other words, you can be a member who is involved a lot or a little. But it is your membership that continues the tradition of the reputable and nonpartisan League of Women Voters. We look forward to hearing from you at lwv.darien@gmail.com
